Sheamus Toal

Sheamus Toal joined Designer Brands in February 2026 as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Designer Brands, Mr. Toal served as Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer of The Children’s Place and previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Saatva, a high growth digital e-commerce retailer. Sheamus brings more than 30 years of finance and consumer retail experience, having held senior executive leadership positions including Controller, Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer within several organizations including, New York & Company, Footstar, Standard Motor Products and KPMG. Mr. Toal holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John’s University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
