DSW Continues to Give Back through its Shoe Lovers Care Philanthropic Platform with Focus on Kids Non-Profits

COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DSW Inc. (NYSE: DSW),  a leading branded footwear and accessories retailer, announced the company will be giving back to the community once again through its Shoe Lovers Care Leave Your Mark program.  DSW associates nominated non-profit organizations that have made an impression on their lives. Finalists will receive $5,000 and the organization with the most number of votes will receive a $75,000 donation. The public is invited to learn more about the nominated organizations and cast a vote on ShoeLoversCare.com. Voting is currently open to the public and ends on June 14 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Supporters can also share their vote on Facebook and Twitter with #DSWShoeLoversCare to promote the Leave Your Mark campaign.

DSW associates nationwide were encouraged to nominate a local or national children's non-profit. After internally reviewing the applications, DSW has selected these deserving kid's nonprofit organizations: Bikers Against Child Abuse, Cradles to Crayons, CURE Childhood Cancer, Girls on The Run, Give Kids The World, Kaleidoscope Youth Center Inc., Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and The Fender Music Foundation.
